As an Engineering Tech II here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting engineering projects by assisting with the development, testing, and implementation of technical solutions. You will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure the successful execution of engineering tasks and contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of our operations.
In this role, you will impact the timely delivery and quality of engineering projects by providing essential technical support, troubleshooting, and data analysis that help drive project success and innovation within the team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist engineers in the design, testing, and validation of Aviation Fuel Controls, Wheels, & Brake products and systems.
- Assist engineers in the design, development, and testing of products and processes.
- Support the preparation and execution of test plans and documentation.
- Analyze test data and provide detailed test input/logs to engineering teams.
- Conduct experiments and tests, collect and analyze data, and prepare reports.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment and tools.
- Maintain and coordinate calibration of engineering tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering project and test teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project success.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering support or technician mechanical role such as aviation, automotive, agricultural, heavy equipment technician or mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency with engineering software tools and data analysis software (Microsoft Office).
- Experience with test equipment, instrumentation, and calibration procedures.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field.
- Experience in manufacturing or product testing environments.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
