We are seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our team and play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, construction, and control survey projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead projects, mentor staff, leverage advanced surveying technology, and work alongside a collaborative team of engineering and surveying professionals.

- Manage and perform boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, right-of-way, and construction layout surveys
- Research deeds, plats, easements, and legal records to establish property boundaries
- Prepare and certify survey plats, legal descriptions, maps, and survey deliverables
- Review and approve survey calculations and project documentation
- Lead, mentor, and support field crews and CAD technicians
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, architects, municipalities, and government agencies
- Ensure compliance with applicable surveying standards, regulations, and best practices
- Support project planning, scheduling, and client communication
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Indiana and/or Michigan (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- 5+ years of progressive land surveying experience
- Experience with boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys
- Proficiency with Carlson, AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and survey processing software
- Strong knowledge of GPS, robotic total stations, and conventional survey methods
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing projects and mentoring survey personnel
- Strong client-facing and business development capabilities
