Renewable Bioenergy Plant Engineer

Plans are underway to build a mega-million dollar brand new Renewable Bioenergy Plant (RNG) adjoined to the existing 100-person chemical South Bend plant where you will work. The owner of this site is an international energy company with similar plants operating in the US and all over the globe. This existing plant uses distillation, fermentation, and large-scale bulk material handling where you will be doing process improvement, reducing energy costs, increasing yields and training plant operators on process changes.

This role comes with a bonus and a relocation package. Must hold US Citizenship or a Green Card.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. Chemical Engineering
• 4+ years’ experience of hands-on experience as a process or production engineer out grains, chemicals, foods, coatings, or petrochemicals with a track record of improving plant processes. Pluses would be distillation, fermentation, controls, bulk conveying, drying and small project work.
