Manufacturing Process Engineer
Our client, an aerospace manufacturing company, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be part of the manufacturing engineering department supporting the Wheel & Braking Systems Integrated Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, creative thinking, and the ability to work independently which will align successfully in the organization.

South Bend, IN
Pay Range: $51.02/hr
What's the Job?
- Provide manufacturing engineering, facilities management, equipment readiness, equipment reliability, and operational support activities.
- Serve as a process owner and subject matter expert for High Temperature Furnaces within the manufacturing operation.
- Train, certify, mentor, and audit operators on assigned manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Record and analyze process data for specification compliance, assist with fault diagnosis, and support emergency operating procedures.
- Coordinate equipment readiness, maintenance schedules, process improvement activities, project planning, and technical solutions.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Cause identification and FMEA experience.
- Familiarity with PLCs, DCS, and HMI systems.
- Must be able to climb stairs/ladders, walk several miles per day, and work in warm environments when required.
