SUMMARY
An individual must be able to attend classes 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, for 2 weeks. Must learn new games and be able to work flexible hours. Must have good math skills, dexterity, and ability to learn. Must have excellent guest service skills.
CLASS INFORMATIONClasses will be held in a convenient South Bend location beginning March 30, 2026.
Games taught:
Blackjack, Four Card Frenzy, and Louisiana Stud.
Class time will be offered from 9 am to 5 pm.
Class attendance required: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, from Monday through Friday for 2 weeks. Classes held for 2 weeks:
March 30, 2026, through April 10, 2026.
Classes are free to qualified applicants (similar classes in this area cost upwards of $850.00).
Ability to pass an audition is no guarantee of an offer for a dealing position.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS- Must be at least 18 years old to be employed by Four Winds Casino Resort.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Level 2 Casino Gaming License.
- Two (2) or more day’s unexcused absences will be a cause for trainee dismissal.
- If unable to attend class, you are responsible for notifying Four Winds Casino Resort.
- Tardiness will not be accepted; 10 minutes or later is a cause for exclusion from class that day. The tardy day will be assessed as an unexcused absence.
- Three (3) unexcused tardies will be a cause for permanent exclusion from training.
- Proper attire, professional appearance and attitude are expected at all times.
- Candidates must obtain a Level 2 gaming license in accordance with Pokagon Band Gaming Commission regulations by completing a background check prior to beginning employment.
- Background check may include criminal background check, credit check, drug screen.
An offer for a Dealer position with Four Winds Casino Resort is not guaranteed at the completion of the training program.
TRAINING ENVIRONMENTThe training environment is representative of those encountered in the casino workplace. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. A casino environment is typically smoky.
