About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in South Bend, Indiana. This fully onsite role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys partnering across departments to support accurate financial reporting, analysis, and business decision-making. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and the month-end close process.

$85,000–$92,000 annually

Full-Time

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform detailed financial analysis to support leadership and business planning
• Support and participate in the full month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
• Assist in the development, monitoring, and analysis of budgets and forecasts
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial reporting and analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
• Support audits and provide required documentation as needed
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Proven experience with full-scale financial reporting and analysis
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work fully onsite in South Bend, IN

• Experience in a multi-department or growing organization
• Exposure to ERP systems and accounting software
