About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in South Bend, Indiana. This fully onsite role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys partnering across departments to support accurate financial reporting, analysis, and business decision-making. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and the month-end close process.

Salary Range$85,000–$92,000 annually

Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform detailed financial analysis to support leadership and business planning
- Support and participate in the full month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
- Assist in the development, monitoring, and analysis of budgets and forecasts
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial reporting and analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
- Support audits and provide required documentation as needed
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Proven experience with full-scale financial reporting and analysis
- Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work fully onsite in South Bend, IN
- Experience in a multi-department or growing organization
- Exposure to ERP systems and accounting software
