POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring selected loans required by the bank maintain sufficient insurance coverage on collateral. Prepares closing loan documents, by determining proper documentation and due diligence requirements. Ensures bank policies and procedures, and regulations are adhered to for proper documentation and perfection of the bank's lien prior to funding.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Monitors and tracks insurance coverage, as well as works closely with third party vendor to ensure all required loans maintain sufficient hazard and/or flood insurance
  • Works closely with the sales staff to document all business banking loan closings per the bank’s policies and procedures and federal regulations.
  • Performs due diligence as required on specified loans.
  • Verifies the accuracy and completeness of all loan documentation necessary for loan closings.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position.
  • Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
  • Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performs all other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
  • Prior commercial or consumer loan experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and courtesy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Maintain good records and file management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions.

EDUCATION
High School Diploma/GED required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Minimal or occasional travel as needed for meetings, projects, training, etc.
