Manage and oversee tax compliance across a complex organization, including multi-state filings, sales/use tax, and property tax.
Handle Technical ComplexityNavigate sophisticated areas such as leasing structures, executive compensation, and specialized financing transactions.
Ensure Compliance & ReportingSupport regulatory and financial reporting requirements, including elements tied to compliance and corporate reporting standards.
Drive Tax Strategy & ResearchResearch and resolve complex tax issues, providing clear, actionable guidance to leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Collaborate Across the BusinessPartner with legal, compliance, payroll, and finance teams to ensure alignment and accuracy across all tax‑related matters.
Lead and DevelopOversee direct reports and contribute to the development of talent within the tax and accounting function.
What You Bring- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- CPA designation (required)
- Experience in a financial institution or large, multi‑entity organization strongly preferred
- Strong technical knowledge across:
- Corporate tax compliance
- Multi‑state sales/use tax
- Property tax
- Regulatory/financial reporting considerations
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
- Proven ability to research and resolve complex tax issues
- Tax professionals who enjoy solving complex, non‑routine challenges
- Leaders who take ownership and operate with independence and accountability
