Location: South Bend, IN (100% Onsite)
About the Opportunity- Join a well-established construction company as a key member of the executive leadership team.
- Partner closely with the CEO to provide financial leadership and ensure the company's continued growth and profitability.
- Opportunity to make a direct impact by overseeing the organization's most critical financial functions.
- Oversee the company's cash management, banking relationships, liquidity planning, and cash flow forecasting.
- Review monthly financial statements and analyze financial performance to provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Review Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules and cost-to-complete reports to ensure accurate project financials and profitability.
- Validate and oversee ESOP distributions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with plan requirements.
- Partner with project managers and operations to monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance.
- Utilize Spectrum ERP to manage financial reporting and construction accounting activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong experience with cash management, financial statement review, WIP reporting, cost-to-complete analysis, and project accounting.
- Experience with ESOP validation and payout processes is highly preferred.
- Experience with Spectrum ERP or similar construction accounting software.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization, as well as with customers, vendors, and financial partners.
- Confident managing cash flow challenges while remaining professional, solution-oriented, and composed under pressure.
- High-energy, proactive leader who enjoys partnering with operations and driving results.
- Strong follow-through with a reputation for being responsive, attentive to detail, and accountable for meeting commitments.
Annual Salary: $175,000 - $195,000, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
