Incumbent serves as a Reassessment Deputy, responsible for receiving, verifying, and maintaining real and personal property assessment records, processing sales disclosures in a timely manner, supporting managers and assisting the public.

- Answer telephone and assist office visitors, responding to inquiries, providing information and assistance, making copies, take messages, and directing to appropriate individuals or office.
- Assist taxpayers at service counter with filing documents, checking status of appeals, explaining forms and applications, and receiving and date-stamp all completed forms and applications.
- Processes sales disclosures and assessments, calculates assessment values, and enters data into appropriate system regularly. Assist with Cyclical Reassessment and compliance duties as necessary.
- Transcribes state sales disclosures form data into appropriate system to assist with future studies to determine market value.
- Ability to meet all hiring requirements, including passage of drug test
- Practical knowledge of department standards, practices, policies, assessment and appeals procedures, terminology, documents and forms, state codes and other legal requirements.
- Working knowledge of standard English grammar, spelling and punctuation, and ability to prepare documents, correspondence and detailed reports.
- High school diploma or HSE required.
- Possession of or ability to obtain required training/certification(s), including Indiana Assessment Certification Levels I, II and III.
Incumbent performs duties primarily in a standard office environment, service counter and occasionally in the field, involving sitting/walking at will, sitting/standing for long periods, lifting/carrying objects weighing less than 25 pounds, bending, crouching/kneeling, reaching, keyboarding, close/far vision, depth perception, handling/grasping/fingering objects and speaking clearly.
