Certifications:
ACLS, Fluoro Permit, ARRT R, BLS
Must-Have:
Needs someone who can scrub cases and is familiar with wires.
Must be familiar with GE and Siemens Fluoro rooms.
Experience in vascular IR, including endografts and Neurovascular IR.
Familiarity with trauma and body IR.
Experience in stroke thrombectomy procedures preferred.
Description:
The interventional radiology tech will be responsible for managing daily caseloads of 10-15 cases.
The position requires scrubbing of various interventional procedures.
Experience in Neurovascular interventions is preferred but not required.
The tech must have experience in hemodynamic monitoring and emergency response protocols.
Familiarity with charting on Cerner is preferred.
The position requires participation in on-call rotations, including weekend call every third or fourth weekend.
The tech will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Social Services.
Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, children, and geriatrics.
The facility handles a range of interventions including but not limited to embolization, stent placements, and biopsies.
Experience in trauma and oncology patients is a plus.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to maintain sterile fields and perform procedures with a high level of accuracy and safety.
Travelers must have valid state licenses or be willing to participate in the licensure project.
It is expected that candidates will manage and stock supplies as needed.
Strong interventional radiology skills and familiarity with critical care procedures are essential.
All candidates must agree to adhere to professional conduct standards throughout their assignment.
