Candidates must reside in one of the following states:

Reports to the Application Manager or Director. This senior Systems Analyst is responsible for the coordination, leadership, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of complex clinical applications, with a strong emphasis on Oncology systems and workflows
. Candidates with extensive Oncology application experience are strongly preferred.
The role serves as the primary liaison between Information Systems, Oncology Services, clinical departments, and software vendors to ensure applications effectively support patient care, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include project planning, systems analysis, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, optimization, end-user training, mentoring junior analysts, and leading small to large-scale projects while applying process improvement methodologies.
The successful candidate will possess deep knowledge of oncology clinical workflows and oncology-specific applications, enabling them to effectively support highly specialized systems, collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and operational leaders, and deliver solutions that enhance patient safety, quality, and efficiency.
Education and Experience
The knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below are normally acquired through successful completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive experience supporting Oncology applications and clinical workflows is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of combined technical and clinical/business systems experience supporting complex healthcare applications.
- Experience leading application implementations, upgrades, integrations, optimization efforts, and production support.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and mentoring other Systems Analysts.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience supporting the software and hardware platforms utilized by Beacon Health System.
Knowledge & Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Oncology clinical workflows, treatment processes, and oncology-specific applications is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting specialized clinical applications such as Oncology, Pharmacy, Salesforce, or other enterprise healthcare systems.
- Strong systems analysis, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and application support skills.
- Ability to analyze complex business and clinical workflows and translate them into effective technology solutions.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and end-user training skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
