Position: Real Estate, Probate, & Estate Planning Attorney

Real Estate, Probate, & Estate Planning Attorney — Florida Licensed Just Another Lawyer Help Wanted Ad…But Not Really.

  • Do you get uneasy when others don’t uphold the same standard of excellence you expect from yourself?
  • Do you proactively study your practice materials and the latest updates so you can spot issues—and their solutions—before they surface?
  • Do you find genuine satisfaction in chasing a problem all the way back to its root cause, even when the path is tedious or unclear?
  • Do you instinctively refine or streamline a process while solving the immediate problem in front of you?
  • Do you tend to share detailed explanations with your team so they understand not just what to do, but why—helping them handle it confidently next time?
  • Are you the kind of lawyer who can laugh at a good lawyer joke (or better yet, deliver one)—recognizing that, yes, we do make the world more complicated?
A-Players Wanted

We’re building a team of A-players to meet our customers where they are—providing excellent service in real estate, probate, and estate planning across Florida.

We’re looking for the right person, not just another hire. This attorney will be joining the founder as the firm’s first full-time attorney, supported by an experienced and capable staff already in place.

Consistent. Real. Happy.
  • Consistent — We prepare early, communicate early, and deliver early.
  • Real — Real people, real relationships, no pretense.
  • Happy — Humor, balance, and good outcomes.
Where Do I Work?

Wherever you do your best work.

In the office, at home, or on the road — the choice is yours.

We’re a small, modern firm with real offices in three Florida cities. Each location is equipped with high-quality video conferencing that allows you to appear virtually in any conference room statewide. Clients are greeted by the local Client Services Coordinator — your on-site partner for managing documents, technology, and in-person client needs.

Your Role by Practice Area Real Estate

You’ll work closely with our title company team to efficiently identify title clouds, develop a plan to cure them, and execute that plan through closing.

Sometimes that means something simple—like reviewing an LLC operating agreement to confirm the proper signatories. Other times, it’s complex and requires a mastery understanding of the tools in your tool bag.

Take, for instance, a completely fictional, it-would-never-happen scenario similar to the following: A frequent real estate agent walks in on December 6 with a full-price offer on a million-dollar listing that’s been sitting for nine months without a nibble. The deal is finally under contract — and set to close December 31.

The sellers? The adult children of the deceased owner, who died two years ago and despite 35 years of trust updates from multiple attorneys, somehow no one ever got around to actually deeding the home into the trust. Whoops.

Clear Title, Closed Transaction.

Probate

You’ll partner with your probate paralegal to find the simplest, fastest, least painful way to probate an estate.

We avoid contested matters and love summary administration whenever possible.

We do not open formal administrations just because the fee would be larger.

Many of our probates are tied to active closings with tight deadlines — so speed and precision matter. We file petitions the moment they’re eligible and aren’t afraid to call the judicial assistant to move things along when a case is ready for disposition.

Progress Without Drama.

Estate Planning

You’ll collaborate with your estate planning paralegal to meet (often virtually) with clients, educate them, and deliver the least complex estate plan that fully meets their needs.

Our typical clients are everyday Joe-and-Joe-ette Floridians — people whose affairs can be handled with clear beneficiary designations and Lady Bird deeds. We keep things simple, clear, and effective, focusing on what truly matters. We also take time to explain the importance of the often-overlooked “living documents” — the Durable Power of Attorney and Living Will — so clients are prepared not only for what happens after life, but for when things go wrong during it.

We don’t take on clients whose family trees require a color-coded chart or whose trusts depend on whether a stepchild’s cosmetology school counts as “higher education.”

TL;

DR:
Clarity Over Complexity.

If This Sounds Like You…

Let’s talk.

We’re not looking for someone to fill a seat — we’re looking for someone who fits the culture and raises the standard.

Before an offer is extended, you will be asked to arrange reference calls with prior managing attorneys and supervisors who can verify your performance.
