COMPENASTION:
Salary, $60,000
Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with Ivy Tech Academic and Student Affairs to identify candidates who meet qualifications, including vaccination status, FERPA documentation certifications, TEAS. Collaborate with Financial Aid and Bursar's Office to secure all records required for Beacon Scholars scholarships and tuition.
Maintains nursing student records
Tracks and enters NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN results in electronic student records system
Track Ivy Tech Nursing and Beacon Scholars student metrics including but not limited to diversity, interests, enrollees, retention, course success and completions
Responsible for ensuring the collection of data on NCLEX exam preparation to include but not limited to Kaplan, ATI, etc. and monitoring of review progress including attendees above 50, testing frequency, schedules, reschedules, preparation dates, comparison scores and success rates/data.
Responsible for schedules and ensures completion of photography sessions for state board pictures for the students
Oversee the collection and maintenance of immunizations and other health file documents for nursing students
Ensures students receive the appropriate documentation to students for the criminal background check and drug screening process
Coordinate and organize Beacon Scholars program and Nursing program activities to include:
Communicates Beacon Scholars requirements including including application documentation, status updates and reports updates and maintains current knowledge of nursing program admission criteria and program handbook
Collaborates with School of Nursing team to responds to calls, emails, and other communication regarding nursing admission
Serves as main contact for students interested in the Beacon Scholars program to complete the Nursing and Limited Enrollment Health Science Application Provides correspondence to the nursing students and stakeholders in the community from the Dean or Department Chair Support and inform students on all programs in the department and provide proper forms to students, verify completeness of form and accompanying materials.
Maintain appropriate inventory of necessary forms, ensuring professional appearance of outgoing documents
Coordinate with Program Chair/Dean nursing student registration, orientation, and end-of program reviews.
Aid in changes/edits to student schedules upon registration and communicate to students.
Responsible for gathering, analyzing, reporting and communicating regular and consistent information as it relates to increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the health care industry.
Present quarterly metrics on all Ivy Tech students and faculty and Beacon Scholars for diversity, equity and inclusion, recruiting, and stipends.
Manage Ivy Advising and Degree Tracker materials and faculty access.
Collaborate with Beacon to offer other developmental opportunities (soft skills, professional development, mock interviews, professional etiquette) to support program.
Work with Ivy Tech and Beacon marketing teams to coordinate the development of signage, collateral, and other marketing material to promote the Nursing program.

Associates degree in education, business, management or related field preferred.
Must demonstrate excellent communication and team building skills.
Must have the ability to work well with persons from various social, ethnic, and economic backgrounds.
Knowledge of computer applications and familiarity with computerized records systems required.
