Molding Products LLC is a manufacturer of Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) and Bulk Molding Compound (BMC) used in transportation, electrical, industrial, and infrastructure applications. The Technical Manager is responsible for leading technical operations, including product development support, process optimization, and technical problem‑solving across manufacturing and customer applications. This role serves as a key liaison between R&D, Production, Quality, and Sales, ensuring technical excellence in both internal processes and external customer support. The position plays a critical role in driving innovation, improving product performance, and supporting business growth.

• Lead technical initiatives related to product performance, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Support product development and scale‑up activities in collaboration with R&D teams.
• Provide technical expertise to Production, Quality, and Sales teams.
• Assist with resolving complex customer and application issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and product quality.
• Oversee technical documentation, specifications, and standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical and business objectives.
• Support training and development of technical staff.
• Participate in customer visits, trials, and technical evaluations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7–10+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, technical service, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of resins, gel coats, or composite materials.
• Experience in product development, process optimization, or technical support.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams or initiatives.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.
