Brake Press Operator

Aerotek -  - Responsibilities:
Set up and operate various fabrication machines in the fabrication department, including presses, shears, notchers, and punch presses, to form sheet metal into finished parts;
Read and interpret blueprints and production prints to determine machine settings, material requirements, and cut specifications;
Adjust and set machine start and stop points to ensure accurate and efficient cutting and forming of metal sheets;
Measure materials and finished parts accurately using a tape measure to verify dimensions;
Use quality instruments such as micrometers and calipers to inspect fabricated sheet metal and confirm adherence to quality standards
