Welder Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Welder Supervisor to lead our welding operations team in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. In this role, you will oversee daily welding activities, ensure quality standards are met, and foster a safe, productive work environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical welding expertise with proven leadership capabilities to drive operational excellence and team performance.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of welders, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
• Ensure all welding work meets quality standards and specifications through regular inspections and testing
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies
• Plan and schedule welding projects to optimize productivity and meet production deadlines
• Conduct equipment maintenance checks and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime
• Train team members on welding techniques, safety procedures, and new equipment operation
• Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
• Document work progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare performance reports
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions promptly
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless project coordination

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on welding experience with proficiency in multiple welding processes
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of welding standards, quality assurance practices, and safety regulations
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding specifications
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
• Proficiency in using welding equipment and related tools
• Valid welding certification (AWS or equivalent)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Preferred:
  Experience with scheduling software and budget management
• Preferred:
  Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties
• Preferred:
  Experience implementing process improvement initiatives
