Material Handler / Shipping (Plastic Injection Molding)

South Bend, IN (on-site)

Monday to Friday (based on business needs)

$22-$25/hr (Dependent on Experience)

Full-Time, Direct Hire

Support shipping and production operations by managing inventory, handling all shipping and receiving activities, and preparing, mixing, and transporting materials for injection molding machines to ensure efficient, high-quality, and uninterrupted production.

• Manage production materials and inventory by reviewing schedules, work orders, and BOMs
• Preparing and staging material mixes for injection molding
• Operating forklifts to transport materials
• Receiving and shipping products
• Updating inventory in IQMS
• Loading/unloading shipments to support efficient production and order fulfillment.

Proven experience operating a forklift

2+ years of Plastics Injection Molding experience

Understanding of how to operate grinders, dryers, and other injection molding machinery

Strong computer literacy and ability to use IQMS

Previous knowledge of UPS/Fed Ex shipping methods

Ability to operate a forklift/material handling equipment

Inventory management experience

Be a team-oriented professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to add using ratios as well as read, write, and communicate in English
