Job Details
Hours:
Monday – Friday 1st shift: 6am-2pm
- Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders.
- Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
- Perform warehouse responsibilities.
- Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Accurately load material and meticulously monitor machine’s process and finished product.
- Properly complete production paperwork and utilize a barcoding system.
- Review and follow shipping order instructions and specifications.
- Must be able to operate an air compressed bander.
- Must be able to read packaging instructions on work orders.
- Expected to be able to handle tasks/cross-train to help the company meet its goals.
- Forklift experience/Certification.
- High School degree or equivalent. Prior experience or training in a related field or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Math – Must be able to use and understand simple mathematics, using addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals. Knowledge of the Standard/Imperial measuring system is required; knowledge of the metric system is a plus.
- Understanding and use of basic measuring instruments required; micrometers, digital calipers, tape measure is required.
- Work from written specifications and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Maintains a good attendance record.
- Generally willing to work overtime.
- Ability to work effectively with other employees.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Be open to learn about lean manufacturing.
- Strong organizational skills.
- A positive attitude.
- The capacity and desire to learn.
- The ability to pass both a pre-employment background and drug screening.

- The employee is required to:
Stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel, reach with hands and arms, frequently above shoulders, climb steps and/or balance, and walk and/or hear. - The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
