Job Description

Maintenance Crafts position.

Location:

South Bend, IN 46619 – Relocation required before starting work.

Job Type: Full‑time

• Follow all safety rules, including PPE use.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
• General plumbing (air and water).
• Use problem‑solving skills to identify and repair production line issues.
• Work overtime as required.
• Assist co‑workers in areas outside their direct responsibility.
• Maintain the building as directed.
• Install and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Machine parts, when necessary (Lathe, Bridgeport, etc.).
• Troubleshoot line issues and monitor line logistics for signs of problems.
• Repair electrical problems in the building and production lines.
• Fabricate guards, chutes and other parts when necessary (Sheet metal and 80/20 experience a plus).
