Description
Manufacture medical implants and instrumentation using various CNC Lathes.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES- CNC Lathe Start-up & Operation.
- Upload and download CNC Programs utilizing ENET DNC Software.
- Access necessary programs to safely and effectively produce a desired part per print, per Maitland’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) “Limited Electronic Access”.
- Perform job set-ups, identify and use proper tooling and specialized tooling that may or may not be specified on a job setup sheet or job traveler.
- Perform 1st Piece Inspection.
- Make necessary machine offsets as described in SOP 6.8 “Machine Offset Guidelines”.
- Maintain the proper machine maintenance as specified on a daily basis.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Utilize inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers and comparators.
- Quickly and accurately identify mistakes per prints, engineering changes and inspection criteria.
- Must exhibit basic computer skills.
- Good math skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
