Position Overview

The Membership & Communications Coordinator supports member engagement through proactive communication, education, and relationship-building. This individual serves as a primary liaison to member institutions and helps promote the value and impact of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with member organizations and community partners.
  • Serve as a goodwill ambassador, promoting the value of the organization and supporting membership growth and retention efforts.
  • Develop, manage, and distribute communications including newsletters, website content, digital media, and social media platforms.
  • Utilize internal software and online tools to maintain accurate records and consistent communication with members.
  • Coordinate educational programs, training sessions, meetings, and special events.
  • Assist with event logistics, promotion, and materials development.
  • Promote positive relationships between members and the communities they serve.
  • Maintain high professional standards in all interactions and business conduct.
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with communication and marketing tools, including newsletter platforms, website management, social media, and promotional materials.
  • Experience with event planning required; graphic design experience is a plus.
  • Positive, customer-service-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn, grow, and contribute to organizational success.
