Tri-City Group is currently seeking a Project Controls Analyst for South Bend, IN. The Project Controls Analyst will support the financial and operational performance of large-scale construction projects. This role plays a key part in managing project data, maintaining schedules, and ensuring accurate reporting to help drive informed decision-making and minimize financial risk

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS/CBS)
  • Implement and manage EVMS and Primavera P6 project schedules
  • Perform weekly updates, reconciliations, and performance reporting (CPI, SPI, HPI)
  • Track and report on change orders, EWOs, and subcontractor/vendor costs
  • Support billing processes, SOVs, and financial reporting
  • Audit billing documentation and monitor project cash flow and commitments
  • Assist with subcontractor/vendor onboarding and project setup
  • Train field teams on project controls systems (EVMS, P6, FDE)
  • Provide ongoing analytical and administrative support to project teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of project controls or related experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Solid understanding of cost, schedule, and progress tracking
  • Working knowledge of earned value, forecasting, and productivity metrics
  • Experience maintaining key project logs (change, risk, quantities)
  • Ability to develop and deliver weekly and monthly project reports
  • Experience with electrical construction, mission-critical, hyperscale, or data center projects (preferred)

Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret project performance data and ensure accuracy across reporting systems. This includes a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced construction environment. Candidates must also communicate effectively and collaborate across field teams, project management, accounting, and scheduling functions
