The Internal Sales Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in South Bend, IN. This position is responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales activities, including handling customer inquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up on leads to drive revenue growth. The role involves providing proactive customer service, identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate product solutions, and coordinating with internal teams such as logistics and production to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.

The Internal Sales Agent will maintain accurate records in the CRM system, support account management, and participate in training and product updates to stay informed about the company’s offerings and market opportunities.

• Minimum of 1 year on inside sales or account management experience, preferably B2B industrial distribution.
• Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Customer service skills with the ability to manage inquiries, resolve issues, and build long-term relationships.
• Sales skills, including lead follow-up, negotiation, and closing, preferably in an industrial or B2B environment.
• Experience in guiding customers on product features, applications, and best practices.
• Basic proficiency with CRM systems (Hub Spot experience a plus)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage (Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018)
• Ability to work on-site full time in South Bend, IN, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in internal sales, customer support, or technical sales support is preferred; background in industrial products or manufacturing is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
