Superintendent – Low Voltage / Security / Network Systems
Location:
Northern Indiana
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the field installation and delivery of low voltage, security, and network infrastructure systems for a large‑scale, mission‑critical data center construction program in Northern Indiana. This role will manage all on‑site activities related to structured cabling, security systems, and network infrastructure, ensuring safe, high‑quality, and on‑schedule execution.
Responsibilities- Lead day‑to‑day field operations for low voltage, security, and network system installations
- Oversee structured cabling installation, termination, labeling, and testing
- Manage installation of security systems including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related devices
- Coordinate network infrastructure installation and pathway coordination with IT and construction teams
- Supervise subcontractors, technicians, and field crews to ensure productivity and quality standards
- Ensure all work is installed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards
- Conduct daily coordination meetings, safety briefings, and progress tracking
- Coordinate closely with electrical, MEP, and general construction teams to align sequencing
- Support system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
- Track progress, resolve field issues, and maintain accurate installation records
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a strong site safety culture
- Manage material deliveries, staging, and installation logistics
- 5–10+ years of experience in low voltage, security, or network infrastructure construction
- Strong experience with structured cabling systems and installation standards
- Knowledge of access control, CCTV, and integrated security systems
- Experience coordinating network infrastructure within commercial or mission‑critical environments
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, riser diagrams, and low voltage schematics
- Strong understanding of installation sequencing and multi‑trade coordination
- Experience supervising subcontractors and field technicians
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience working in data center, industrial, or large commercial projects preferred
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
Candidates may come from low voltage contractors, security integrators, telecom providers, or general contractors delivering structured cabling and integrated technology systems.
Experience supporting data center environments or other mission‑critical infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
