OverviewAs a Service Manager on the Performance Management team at LINK, you will lead a team and perform a wide variety of general maintenance repairs and services to our apartment residents at an assigned multi-family apartment community. This role is crucial to the overall success of the community by making sure that all apartments are updated and move‑in ready.
What You'll Do- Oversee the completion of tenant service requests and the make‑ready completion process.
- Ensure the community meets the highest exterior aesthetics standards.
- Manage and lead a team of skilled technicians.
- Coordinate and manage vendor and sub‑contractor projects within the community.
- Build and execute a community maintenance budget.
- Ensure property maintenance meets company quality standards at all times.
- Oversee daily operations of the community and ensure that grounds, maintenance, and property are in superior condition.
- Ensure the team completes work in accordance with all required compliance standards and applicable regulations.
- Plan and conduct team meetings and training on an as‑needed basis.
- At least 3 years of maintenance and repair experience in residential, retail, or commercial property management required.
- At least 1 year of experience as a maintenance supervisor leading a team required.
- Technical skills and experience servicing and repairing items associated with carpentry, painting, plastering, HVAC, and minor electrical tasks, appliances, and general installations or repairs associated with the turn process and punch needed.
- A high school degree or equivalent required.
- HVAC certification preferred but not required.
- Available as necessary in the event of an emergency maintenance call during any on‑call period.
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation to and from work each day and when on call for emergencies.
- Ability to sit and stand frequently throughout the day and occasionally climb, balance, stoop, crouch, lift, crawl, or use a ladder. Must be able to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.
