Apprentice Carpenter​/Handyman

Position: Apprentice Carpenter / Handyman
Apprentice Technician Mr. Handyman – South Bend & Elkhart Area Launch your career in the skilled trades with one of the nation’s most trusted names in residential and commercial repair. Mr. Handyman is seeking an eager, hands-on Apprentice Technician ready to support Senior Service Professionals while learning the craft and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with residential and commercial maintenance and repair projects (typically 2 hours to 2 days)
Support lead technicians with tasks including drywall, minor carpentry, painting, and basic installations

Communicate clearly with customers and office staff to set expectations and deliver quality service

Document work using iPad and Service Titan software

Follow all safety protocols and uphold professional appearance standards

Qualifications:

Basic hand tools and a willingness to learn required

Strong work ethic, teamwork mindset, and attention to detail

Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record

Able to lift 50 lbs and work safely at heights

Must pass background and driving checks

Compensation & Benefits:$18–$22/hour depending on experience
