Automotive Technician
As a Mobile Glass Technician at Belle Tire, you keep life moving for our customers by repairing and installing windshields and other auto glass, thriving in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment focused on safety and quality.
What You'll Do- Travel to customer locations to perform auto glass installation and repairs
- Inspect vehicles and determine appropriate repairs or replacements needed
- Safely remove and replace windshields, side windows, rear windows, and other auto glass
- Effectively communicate with customers, addressing concerns or questions
- Safely drive a mobile glass van equipped with tools and glass required to perform repairs/replacements
- Ensure the glass van and all equipment and tools are well‑maintained and safe
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform other duties as assigned by your manager
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Five (5) years of auto glass repair/replacement experience on all types of vehicles
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend and lift up to 75 pounds
This position is an on‑the‑road driving role involving physical demands, including sitting for extended periods while operating the vehicle and loading/unloading heavy auto glass.
