Maintenance Technician (All Levels) – Entry Level to Senior

Maintenance Technician (All Levels) – Entry Level to Senior
Description: Nello is hiring Maintenance Technicians at multiple skill levels to support our production and facility operations. We are looking for dependable individuals who are interested in building a long-term career in maintenance. Positions may include entry-level technicians through senior technicians, depending on experience and technical ability.
Technicians support equipment reliability, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot machinery, and help ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and support production. Technicians may work on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility systems depending on experience level.
Responsibilities and scope of work will vary based on technician level.
Responsibilities may include:
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Repair or replace motors, bearings, belts, sensors, and other machine components
- Perform equipment inspections and diagnose failures
- Support equipment installations and major repairs
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Document maintenance activities and completed repairs
- Assist with facility maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Support efforts to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
- Senior-level technicians may also:
- Lead complex troubleshooting and repair projects
- Perform advanced electrical and PLC troubleshooting
- Support preventative maintenance program improvements
- Mentor and assist training of maintenance technicians
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous maintenance or mechanical experience preferred
- Experience with industrial equipment, mechanical systems, or facility maintenance is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to:
- Stand and/or walk frequently throughout the shift
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and squat as needed
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Work around industrial equipment
- Wear required PPE including steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and dust masks
- Read and understand work orders and maintenance documentation
