HS Boys Assistant Soccer Coach

(Appendix II - 1 per school if over 25 participants)

SALARY RANGE:

$2,990.00

CONTRACT LENGTH:

Sport Season

Basic Function: Responsible for assisting the coach to guide and direct students in a successful soccer program at the intermediate school level.

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:

Head Coach, Athletic Director, School Principal

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for helping the coach organize and plan the practices including a progressive and developmental approach to teaching sport related skills. Responsible for assisting in the out of season programs to assist the development of the sport. Develop conditioning programs to develop improved strength, skill, and agility. Demonstrate an interest in and support of the entire school program by attending activities and developing a feeder school program.

Qualifications: Experience as a high school/intermediate soccer coach in a successful program. Must have good communication skills. Must be able to get along with students and parents. Ability to motivate athletes. Experience as a soccer participant at the high school or college level.

• Salary: $2,990 to $2,990 Stipend
