* 0 - 1 years of Order Pulling experience
* Prior order pulling experience in a fast-paced environment
* Basic math and counting skills
* Receptive to cross-training in other areas of warehouse or receiving
* Self-motivated
* Detail-oriented
* Strive to achieve established order pulling metrics
* Must be a team player
* Quality focused with a high emphasis on accuracy
* High School Diploma or GED Preferred or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
** TECHNICAL and/or MANAGERIAL JOB COMPETENCIES –** (Specific Job Proficiencies and Skills)
* Basic ability to read and interpret Pick Suggestions and Work Orders Kit List with regards to warehouse locations.
* Basic understanding of PEI Quality Policy, FOD, and AS9100 Overview.
* Basic understanding of FIFO (First In – First Out) practices
* Knowledge of Product Identification and lot traceability as it pertains to order pulling
* Operation of order puller scanner
* Achieve effective level in primary position as defined in Skills Matrix
** ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** (Other duties may be assigned.)
* Pulling parts from Pick Suggestions and Work Orders
* Confirming Work Orders or pulled part accuracy
* Ensure that Work Instructions are being followed and all processes are being met
* Ensure that all Pick Suggestions and Work Orders are being completed within the allotted time by Management.
* Ability to utilize weigh scale in the counting of parts
* Read, understand, and complete all Shipping Department documentation and work instructions to the PEI-Genesis, ISO
9001, and AS9100 standard.
* Maintain a clean and orderly work area using 5S principles.
* Stock order pulling cart with required materials to perform job.
** PHYSICAL DEMANDS
*** Manual lifting up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 70 lbs. on occasion (with assistance).
* Repetitive detailed work with hands for 8+ hours of the day.
* Ability to sit or stand for up to 8+ hours.
* Be able to reach overhead with or without the aid of a ladder or step stool.
* Ability to Grip/Grasp at least 8 hours of the day.
