How You’ll Make an Impact
Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and capability studies.
Partner with suppliers to develop quality plans and corrective actions.
Monitor supplier performance using key metrics such as PPM, FPY, and SCAR closure rates.
Lead root cause analysis and drive effective preventive measures.
Support new product introductions, ensuring supplier readiness and sample approval.
Implement continuous improvement activities using 8D, FMEA, SPC, and Lean tools.
Identify supplier risks and create proactive mitigation strategies.
Maintain documentation, reports, and communication on supplier quality performance.
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or similar manufacturing roles.
Strong understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems.
Proficiency with quality methodologies including PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, 8D, and Lean/Six Sigma.
Experience conducting supplier audits or possessing Lead Auditor credentials.
Ability to travel 25–40% to domestic and international supplier locations.
