** How you’ll make an impact
*** Collaborate on custom transformer designs with a strong focus on safety and hazard mitigation.
* Lead the design and development of three‑phase and single‑phase transformers.
* Analyze designs, systems, and components requiring advanced technical expertise.
* Support prototype builds, testing, and design updates based on results.
* Drive continuous improvement in design processes, materials, and manufacturability.
* Champion technology implementation and Design to Value (DTV) initiatives.
* Provide technical mentorship and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
* Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.###
** Your background
*** Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline; advanced degree a plus.
* 3–5+ years of experience in electrical design or product development, ideally in transformer engineering.
* Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for employer‑sponsored authorization.
* Experience with 3D CAD tools; PTC Creo proficiency is an advantage.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Clear, concise communication skills for diverse technical and non‑technical audiences.
