As a Transformer Test Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in validating innovative designs across industry-leading standards including UL, IEEE, IEC, Nuclear 1E, and IBC. ** How You’ll Make an Impact
*** Perform transformer testing to multiple industry standards in a production environment.
* Follow safety and quality procedures while maintaining high housekeeping standards.
* Interpret engineering drawings to wind, assemble, wire, and fabricate components.
* Support other production areas as needed, following supervisor instructions.
* Manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet established deadlines.
* Document test plans, results, and protocols with accuracy and clarity.
* Host and support customers, auditors, and certification personnel during witnessed testing.
* Demonstrate Hitachi Energy’s values of safety, integrity, and teamwork.## ##
** Your Background
*** AS degree or technical certificate (minimum 2-year electrical education).
* Prior work authorization to work in the United States.
* Experience with instrumentation and measurement systems.
* Ability to gather, organize, and process technical information from multiple sources.
* Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines; flexible with shifts, overtime, and weekends.##
