Roving Relationship Teller

Benchmark Community Bank is seeking to hire an outgoing and service-oriented teller for our roving team. This position will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to our customers in any of our 18 locations. Candidates primarily service our western market from Clarksville to South Boston but have the ability to travel to other locations as needed with mileage reimbursement.

In 1971, BCB opened for business in a "double wide" in Kenbridge, Virginia. Over the years, we have continued to give back to the community we serve and remain locally owned and operated.

As a teller, you cheerfully greet customers as they walk through the branch, serving as the first point of contact and first impression. You efficiently process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments. You maintain a cash drawer with proper controls, ensuring it balances at the end of each day, and look for fraudulent activity. You also recommend financial products and services based on customer needs.

• 1-2 years of banking experience, preferred
• Flexibility to travel as needed to different locations
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Basic math and computer skills

This is a full-time position with benefits. Scheduled hours are Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m., and Fridays 8:30 a.m.

- 5:30 p.m. Weekends are free.
