Job Description
Benchmark Community Bank is seeking to hire an outgoing and service-oriented Teller for our roving team. This position will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to our customers in any of our 18 locations. The primary market will be the western region from Clarksville to South Boston, with the ability to travel to other locations as needed with mileage reimbursement.
Responsibilities- Greet customers and serve as the first point of contact at the branch.
- Process routine financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments.
- Maintain a cash drawer with proper controls and security, ensuring it balances at the end of each day.
- Use product knowledge to recommend financial products and services that meet customers’ current and future needs.
- Check for fraudulent activity and comply with check‑cashing guidelines.
- Engage in a variety of service opportunities, from routine tasks to more challenging assignments.
- 1–2 years of banking experience preferred.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to different branch locations.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
This is a full‑time position with scheduled hours Monday–Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Weekends are free.
Salary$17.00–$22.60 per hour, with additional mileage reimbursement.
