We're seeking a highly motivated Business Banking Assistant for our South Boston, Virginia location. This position plays a key role in supporting our Business Banking team by providing exceptional service to commercial customers and assisting with a variety of administrative and banking functions. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of banking experience, preferably in lending, loan operations, branch banking, or customer service.
- Working knowledge of commercial, consumer, and real estate loan documentation preferred.
- Strong understanding of banking products, services, and operational procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work professionally with customers, attorneys, appraisers, title companies, and bank personnel.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with loan officers, the credit department, LPG, and other bank departments.
WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m. This position will be based at our South Boston branch.
Full Salary Range
: $20.47 - $27.48/hr starting salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
