Overview
Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Perform Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.
Performs Computed Tomography (CT) under the direction of a qualified physician. Perform CT Technologist I responsibilities with addition of one of the following:
Intervention, Dual modality CT/Diag or Hospital Based/Standing ED.
Provide quality CT imaging under the direction of a supervising or qualified physician; perform CT per protocol; educate patients and families; operate CT equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain equipment cleanliness and operability; maintain adequate supply inventory for examinations; follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines; administer CT contrast per protocol.
Education- Trade School Radiology program
ARRT Required upon hire. Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
