SGS North America Inc. is seeking Welding Inspectors across the United States. Work is assigned on an as-needed basis; hours and costs are paid for the days spent on the assigned work.
The inspector will sign an independent contractor/sub-contractor agreement (1099) with SGS North America Inc. Responsibilities include welding code compliance inspections (ASME, AWS, API), witnessing and interpreting NDT, documenting reports, verifying welder qualifications, and ensuring WPS adherence.
