Victra is the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States. As an Assistant General Manager, you’ll lead a store team, drive sales targets, manage financials and merchandising, and create outstanding customer experiences.
In a competitive and fun environment, you’ll coach sales specialists, motivate performance, handle daily operations, and support the General Manager when needed.
Responsibilities- Lead your team by resolving customer issues and assisting with transactions.
- Takes direction from store leader on day‑to‑day operations.
- Set and share daily, weekly, and monthly goals with sales teams.
- Provide training and mentoring to deliver an outstanding customer experience, including managing customer flow and store traffic.
- Identify selling skill gaps and build development plans to exceed sales metrics and quota assignments.
- Run store operations – analyze staffing needs, report financial and sales data, handle cash, meet compliance, open trouble tickets with Facilities/Network/IT to ensure store up‑time and functionality.
- Monitor inventory by restocking shelves, maintain device security, and manage store cleanliness.
- Lead store merchandising and planogram compliance per company expectations.
- Complete store opening and closing activities.
- Collectively attain store targets daily, weekly, monthly.

CompensationAssistant General Managers earn a national average annual salary of $43,000 to $67,000, combining a base hourly rate of $14.77 plus uncapped commission.

Qualifications- Background in customer service within retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
- 1–2 years of Customer Service or leadership experience.
- Management experience in a commissions‑based sales environment.
- Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
- Balance multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment.
- Set goals, evaluated performance, and developed a high‑performing team.
- Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One or more years of customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to lift ten pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
All Assistant General Managers must attend and complete a 4‑day New Hire University (NHU) program within 30 days of start date (may include overnight travel at company expense). Dual General Managers must complete a 3‑day General Manager University (SMU) program within 30 days of completing NHU (may include overnight travel at company expense). Various online and computer‑based training will be required throughout employment.
