We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC/R Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial environments
. You’ll ensure systems operate efficiently, meet code requirements, and deliver reliable performance in critical spaces like office buildings, retail centers, warehouses, and cold storage facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install commercial HVAC/R systems according to blueprints, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and tune‑ups to maximize system efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC/R equipment, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components.
  • Work with various refrigeration units, including walk‑in coolers, freezers, and chillers.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing clear updates and service recommendations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, tools, and technology.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations, including proper refrigerant handling.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands‑on commercial HVAC/R experience
    .
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, controls, and components.
  • EPA 608 Certification (required).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred (but not required):
  • NATE certification
  • Experience with energy‑efficient or smart building systems
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
