Comfort Systems USA Mid Atlantic, LLC, a leading mechanical contracting company located in South Boston, VA, specializes in installing full mechanical systems for Educational, Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial customers in southern Virginia and northern North Carolina.
Duties Include- Understand project schedules, milestones, submittals, and contract documents.
- Coordinate with other trades for HVAC/piping installations within project scope and schedule.
- Manage project crews for the installation of various HVAC and Duct Systems.
- Ensure the safe performance of personnel and equipment.
- Implement and enforce the company tool policy.
- Complete necessary paperwork, daily reports, accident reports, and disciplinary reports.
- 5 or more years of experience as a mechanical foreman on commercial HVAC construction projects.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Master or Journeyman HVAC Tradesman Certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience with RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water or boiler systems (preferred).
- OSHA 30-Hour certification (preferred).
- Positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude.
- Mechanical aptitude, mathematical, and English language skills.
- Experience overseeing job site personnel - journeyman and apprentice/helpers.
