We have an immediate opening in our Monmouth Junction, NJ facility for a Staff Accountant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Staff Accountant is primarily responsible for managing order-to-cash processes across the company’s three business lines – brand, generics and partnership. Other potential areas where the Staff Accountant may contribute include: accounts payable (AP), bank account reconciliation, financial close and other day-to-day accounting activities, as needed.

The position requires a candidate with strong integrity, significant accuracy and attention to detail, effective time management and communication skills and a strong understanding of internal controls.

The position works closely with the accounting and finance teams to:

  • Manage order-to-cash activities (generate customer invoices, follow-up on overdue payments, etc.)
  • Ensure accurate books and records are maintained for sales, accounts receivable (AR) and gross-to-net (GTN) accounts. Prepares and maintains account reconciliations / analyses for these accounts
  • Contribute to timely completion of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities
  • Provide required information as requested by the company’s auditors. Interacts with vendors and internal stakeholders on accounting related issues and tasks
  • Prepare journal entries, and appropriate supporting work papers, and enters them for review in the Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP)
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field and minimum 3 years accounting experience including order-to-cash processes in a corporate or business setting.

  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, including “v-lookup”, “sum if”, “subtotal” formula construction, Pivot Table creation and database management
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) PREFERRED
  • Pharmaceutical industry Accounting experience PREFERRED
  • Experience with JDE/Oracle PREFERRED

Work Arrangements:
We are a HYBRID work environment requiring local candidates to be able to work majority of week in our NJ office.

Anticipated salary range: $70k to $85k. Base salary offered is contingent on assessment of candidate’s education and experience level relative to requirements of the position and a review of related industry standards and internal equity.

Additional benefits:
