The responsibilities for this role include teaching multiple grade levels of general music, direct choral and instrumental ensembles, and provide small-group instrumental instruction. The successful candidate will continue established programs while guiding students through final concert preparation and end-of-year learning experiences.
- General Music:
Grades 3–5 - Choral Ensembles:
Grade 3 and Grades 4–5 - Instrumental Music:
Beginning Orchestra, Advanced Orchestra and small-group instrumental string lessons - Direction of Spring Choir Concert - May 21, 2026
- Direction of Spring Orchestra Concert – June 9, 2026
- Continuing instruction on established concert repertoire.
- Rehearsing and conducting spring concerts.
- Lesson planning and instructional delivery.
- Grading and assessment of student progress.
- Collaboration with music department staff.
- The qualified candidate must be willing to be hired by Kelly Education to be considered for this position.
- Employment Period:
May 6, 2026 – June 30, 2026 - Substitute Teacher Daily Rate: $125 - $200
- NJ Teacher of Music Certification and/or substitute certification.
- Experience teaching strings/vocal/general music.
