We have a great oppportunity in USA where you will control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery. As a Production Operator you will package and filter finished goods and replenish raw material inventory as necessary. Operator will also be responsible for chemical blending in Production including manual dispensing of all flavor chemicals and combining with automatically dispensed materials.
This position is for second shift 3:30pm-11:50pm Monday-Friday and is located in South Brunswick.
- Compound as required by production demand by following shop floor precisely as instructed to do so by shop floor papers.
- Responsible for safe operation of forklift and all material handling equipment within the work area.
- Maintain a safe working environment, utilize appropriate safety equipment and proactively improve the safety culture of the department.
- Maintain processing area and equipment in a clean, sanitary and presentable condition; adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and exemplary housekeeping standards.
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team to solve problems, develop procedures, and recommend improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned , Including other departments as needed.
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Ability to wear respirator
- Ability to operate forklift and other equipment
- Ability to be exposed to heavy machinery and electrical currents
- Ability to stand for 8 hours per day
- Ability to handle 200 kg drums and 50 kg bags
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Basic math, reading and computer skills
- SAP, Camelot and Marco experience
- Ability to multi-task
- English fluency
- Prior chemical process manufacturing experience
- Experience in liquid compounding or flavor manufacturing
- Strong safety mindset and compliance-driven work style
- Ability to work effectively across multiple shifts and priorities
