Tris Pharma, Inc. () is a leading privately‑owned U.S. biopharmaceutical company focused on development and commercialization of innovative medicines in ADHD, spectrum disorders, anxiety, pain, and addiction, addressing unmet patient needs. The company holds more than 150 U.S. and international patents and markets several branded ADHD products in the U.S. It also licenses products in U.S. and ex‑U.S. markets. A robust pipeline spans neuroscience and other therapeutic categories.

The fully‑owned subsidiary Adneuris recently completed a phase‑3 registration program for cebranopadol, a first‑in‑class dual‑NMR investigational therapy for moderate‑to‑severe acute pain.

We are hiring an experienced Director or Associate Director, Marketing (title commensurate with experience) for our Monmouth Junction, NJ facility.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement US Health Care Provider (HCP) marketing strategy, launch marketing plan, and omnichannel promotional materials for cebranopadol.
  • Lead marketing efforts to understand evolving HCP market segments and acute pain needs.
  • Facilitate development of acute pain market map and provide segmentation and targeting recommendations for launch to +24 months.
  • Coordinate with market access, medical affairs, policy, communications, and other functions to ensure an integrated HCP promotion plan that delivers highest impact at launch and beyond.
  • Drive pre‑launch brand planning and anchor brand strategy to effective omnichannel promotional tactics and investment.
  • Recommend marketing plan shifts to anticipate and address market opportunities, key competitive events, and potential future indications.
  • Manage agency and internal processes to achieve work targets on time and within budget.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (MA or MBA preferred) and minimum 8 years of brand management/marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, including at least 2 years as a Senior Product Manager or equivalent.
  • Proven track record developing brand strategies and implementation plans to prepare for successful launch of a novel prescription therapy in the U.S. market.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining successful relationships with advocacy organizations and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Strong understanding of U.S. pharmaceutical marketing practices, including regulatory environment, payor landscape, pricing, distribution, and promotion constraints.
  • Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical legal, medical, regulatory review processes.
  • Experience with multi‑channel marketing campaigns through all stages: concept, implementation, execution.
  • Experience managing outside vendors, including advertising and media agencies.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.
Travel Requirements

Approximately 20 – 25 % travel.

Work Arrangements

Hybrid work environment requiring local candidates to work majority of the week in our NJ office. Non‑local candidates must come into the office multiple times a month.

Salary

Anticipated salary range: $185 to $260 K/yr. Base salary offered is contingent on assessment of candidate’s education and experience level relative to requirements of the position and a review of related industry standards and internal equity.
