Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing electrical and mechanical failures, supporting emergency equipment repairs, and ensuring production machinery operates safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate has a strong industrial electrical and mechanical background, hands-on PLC troubleshooting experience, and expertise working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and heavy manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system failures.
- Diagnose equipment issues using electrical testing equipment, multimeters, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and technical manuals.
- Replace and repair motors, bearings, valves, sensors, switches, wiring, filters, pumps, conveyors, and other machine components.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and support modifications as required.
- Perform equipment setup, adjustments, alignment, calibration, and functional testing.
- Respond quickly to production breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Maintain maintenance records, repair documentation, and spare parts inventory.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations, overtime, and shift coverage as required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
- Working knowledge of:
- Motors and motor controls
- Conveyors and production equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley Control Logix / RSLogix 5000.
- Experience with Siemens S7 PLCs.
- Experience maintaining injection molding, blow molding, or other heavy industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Industrial electrician license or equivalent electrical certification.
- Experience with plastic manufacturing or injection molding operations.
- Welding, machining, or fabrication experience is a plus.

Overnight Shift
8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
3 days on / 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off
36 hours one week / 48 hours the next
Alternating weekends and overtime as required

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
