Tutor
Under the direction of the Director of Educational Support Systems and Principal, provides intensive tutorial services to students based on a curriculum program developed by the school and teachers. Maintains effective relationships with students, parents, and other staff members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education and/or
Experience:
Associate's Degree in education, Bachelor of Arts degree in education or content area preferred. One or more years relevant experience required.
Other
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to provide lessons based on content and school objectives and with the needs and abilities of assigned students in mind. Is knowledgeable with special education regulations in order to participate in Instructional Educational Plans (IEP) teams and knowledgeable of appropriate behavior management techniques in order to carry out student IEP accommodations and goals onstrated ability to plan, organize and manage time effectively.
Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and board policies.
