Facilities Manager

REPORTS TO:

General Manager SUPERVISES DIRECTLY:
Maintenance staff PAY RANGE: $70k – $75k commensurate with experience

The Facilities Manager leads all property maintenance and engineering operations for our full-service hotel and restaurant facilities. This role ensures all building systems, guest spaces, and back‑of‑house infrastructure operate safely, reliably, and efficiently to support exceptional guest experiences and hotel operations.

• Lead, train, schedule, and supervise the lodging maintenance team.
• Ensure all maintenance staff follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Manage operations of all building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life, safety, and mechanical. Coordinating and working with contractors as needed.
• Partner with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Sales teams to support operational needs.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for both the restaurant and hotel including dining, kitchen, guest rooms, common areas, and equipment.
• Develop and manage the department budget, including labor, materials, and capital expenditures.
• Maintain proper inventory of parts, tools, and supplies; order materials as needed.
• Work with vendors and contractors on repairs, installations, or large projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain records for inspections, permits, and safety compliance.
• Conduct regular property inspections and safety audits; implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and development.

• Lifting/moving up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting/carrying of objects up to 25 pounds. Bending, handling, reaching, walking, climbing, standing and driving.

• Inside/outside – subject to various temperature changes (extremes)

• 5 years of facilities, engineering, or maintenance leadership experience in hospitality, healthcare, or commercial facilities
• Experience managing vendor contracts and service agreements
• Experience maintaining pools or water treatment systems
• Experience with Preventative Maintenance programs
• Snow and winter operations planning
