THE WORK

Seeking candidates for the position of F‑35 Support Equipment (SE) Field Support Representative (FSR) who will directly support the 134th Fighter Squadron, part of the 158th Fighter Wing at Burlington ANGB, VT. The SE FSR provides technical guidance and logistics support for a broad range of F‑35 Ground Support Equipment (GSE), advising USAF ANG customers on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement of program technical products, programs, and systems.

The role involves troubleshooting, resolving technical problems, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Support includes familiarization of the F‑35 SE product line and is performed at customer sites and/or government bases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determine correct equipment configuration using engineering data and identify design deficiencies limiting utility.
• Consult with GSE managers, engineers, reliability engineers, and suppliers to resolve equipment issues involving safety, usability, reliability, and availability.
• Collect, archive, and submit GSE readiness status; identify reliability and maintainability issues affecting readiness trends.
• Provide support equipment familiarization to customers.
• May require flexible scheduling, weekend coverage, and potential deployment with the customer.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Aerospace Ground Support Equipment (GSE) maintenance experience or equivalent related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent combined education and experience.
  • Proficient in industry‑standard maintenance practices.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience troubleshooting using engineering drawings and technical data.
  • Ability to work in hazardous flight‑line environments.
  • Capability to frequently lift or push equipment exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of industrial and aircraft maintenance safety standards.
  • Candidate must hold a final Secret clearance.
DESIRED SKILLS
  • Support Equipment (SE) data management experience.
  • Military flight‑line maintenance experience.
  • SE/AGE/GSE maintenance experience.
  • Familiarity with DoD maintenance manuals and military standard practices.
  • Professional focus on mission success.
  • International experience supporting aircraft manufacturing operations.
SECURITY CLEARANCE

This position requires a government security clearance; the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and hold a final Secret clearance.

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION

Annual base salary range: $73,800 – $130,180 (state dependent). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
